Summary:
This Business Systems Analyst Intern will provide support to the continued implementation and execution of the Albany Engineered Composites Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Windchill PDMLink and other related systems such as SAP, SharePoint, and Manufacturing tool software.
Key Duties/
Responsibilities:
o Assist in the design, development, test and debugging of Java applications for the Windchill PDMLink system.
o Analyze, modify and document existing application code.
o Collaborate with colleagues on development, implementation and upgrade of systems to obtain performance needs
o Provide technical application support in the resolution of User issues
o Assist in configuring, customizing, and testing new releases of major PLM solutions.
o Assist in gathering user requirements for new functionality of PLM solutions.
o Develop and maintain technical documentation (use/functional/design requirements, best practices, change requests, code documentation)
Experience/Education/Skills: Knowledge:
A candidate for Business Systems Analyst Intern is expected to have completed at least two years (three years preferred) toward a BS in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred) and be able to demonstrate competence in one or more of the following areas:
o Relevant application development experience including Java, HTML, XML, JSP and JavaScript
o Knowledge and experience with other business tools a plus (MS Access, SharePoint, etc.)
o Experience with CAD/CAM tools, project planning and to work independently as well as in a team
o Experience with Oracle/ SQL and interfacing to relational databases.
o Knowledge of the PTC Windchill PLM environment a major plus.
Skills:
o MSOffice proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio skills required)
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent organizational and project management/prioritization skills

o Team and people skills that are required to ensure efficient execution of tasks.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
