Summary:
The Manufacturing Worker position performs general manufacturing work that involves operating a small rewinding machine, converting master rolls to various length log rolls.
Duties also include loading and unloading the machine, tracking output and completing work orders, and practicing safe behavior.
Responsibilities:
Perform various duties as assigned.
Maintain all safety standards.
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Understand and follow product specific work instructions to generate custom items.
Produce and confirm orders efficiently and accurately.
Ticket or label orders as specified.
Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
Report any conditions that need attention to the appropriate manager.
Keep accurate records of material and equipment parameters.
Learn the safety features of the machine.
Read work orders and verify that the correct material is used.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions Must have basic math skills Must have basic computer skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to work as part of a team to increase efficiency and accuracy Job Type:
