2nd Shift Temp Production Operator/Assembler

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a 2nd shift Production Operator/Assembler with one of our clients in Rochester, NH! Our client is an Aerospace parts provider which manufactures parts that end up in flight! The temporary production operator/assembler will support secondary operations in the fan blade, fan case, tool prep, de-flash, forming and ice blast areas.
Perform manufacturing operations associated with producing quality composites and components.
Responsibilities:
Temporary operator/assembler will:
- Assemble items using pre-made parts and copper tubing with screws and bolts using wrenches (no cutting, soldering or welding).
- Load and unload parts into fully guarded machines - Manually sand parts by hand with sandpaper or files - Position material for dry ice blasting.
Fill hoppers by shovel from waist high rolling cart to hopper on machine at approximately the same height - Visually inspect parts and accurately complete documentation associated with production process - Move molds and parts weighting 25 lbs or less between worktables and carts - Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Good Manufacturing Procedures - Responsible for keeping work area clean and tidy to ensure a safe work environmentDesired Background/Skills:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred but only required to go permanent/promotions.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (aerospace or composites a plus) - Ability to read and interpret work instructionsOther Information:
