Job Description: Global Information Services is the team within Albany chartered with providing leading-edge systems and technologies to internal users as well as Albany customers. GIS provides services ranging from Information Systems Strategy to infrastructure development and maintenance, with a unique and intense focus on customer service.

Responsibilities
oSupport End-Users with applications including SAP ERP, PTC Windchill, and Microsoft Sharepoint
oEscalation point for Helpdesk and first-level troubleshooting of Business Systems Applications
oDevelop Training Materials and Conduct Training
oCoordinate and Execute Functional Testing of Applications
oAnalyze Business Processes, Gather Requirements and Generate Functional Specifications
oAssist with Design, Modification and Implementation of New and Existing Business Systems Applications
oHelp organize storage of information and administer security within Sharepoint Teamsites and Document Libraries
oAssist with development of workflows and forms as needed for business processes
oOther Duties as Required
Experience/Education/Skills: Knowledge & Experience
oUniversity degree in the field of computer science or information systems or equivalent work related experience.
oProficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio
oExperience with Sharepoint and InfoPath forms preferred
oBasic understanding of Project Management Methodology
oFamiliarity with basic Web Development technologies
oBasic understanding of functions and information flow within an ERP system
oExperience developing or supporting Relational Database, Transactional and Web-Based Systems preferred
